It had been a while since our last visit to Africa, and with such great scenery now available for Algeria's main airport we ended up choosing just that for our location this week: Houari Boumedienne Airport in Algiers, Algeria, one of Africa's largest airports. Close by was a previous fly-in location in Toulouse, France, which also happens to be an Air Algerie destination and made a natural starting point for my first flight today. After exploring the airport's surrounding in two very different military aircraft I then headed north for Great Britain, with Luke joining me for the trip in an MD-11.
