138th X-Plane.org fly-in (Bielefeld)

For this week we decided to visit the German city of Bielefeld, allegedly located in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen - there are some who claim the city itself is no more real than the aircraft pictured in the fly-in banner below! For those with a (strange) sense of humor, Deutsche Welle has a good article on the conspiracy theory surrounding this obscure city's (non)existence.

I started out by flying a Cessna 172 from the previous week's fly-in airport in Paris, using only visual navigation to reach Bielefeld. I also managed to make a few less than 100% successful takeoffs and landings... take a look at the pics below to find out exactly what went wrong!
