Since this was the first X-Plane.org fly-in near Lake Tanganyika, I took the opportunity to explore the lake and surrounding areas in a Cessna Citation after first flying the B1900 from Nairobi to Bujumbura. Later during the evening I also hovered around the airport in a Eurocopter Colibri before switching to daytime again for a flight to a small Rwandan airport near Lake Kivu and back. Notice how far X-Plane has come since the V7 days - the global scenery looks really great in these parts of Africa and all of the planes I flew this Sunday had very detailed 3D cockpits too.
