116th X-Plane.org fly-in (Chicago)

-return to picture archive-

Our second visit to Chicago was JDRBMW92's fly-in location choice, this time at Chicago Executive Airport, formerly known as Palwaukee Municipal Airport. X-Plane's real weather gave us a freak blizzard all of a sudden, making visual navigation, landings and even taxiing next to impossible at times. I did manage to land at KPWK once after the snowstorm ended, and visited quite a few towns with easily mixed up names along the way - such as Marseilles, Naples, Ottawa and even one place called Oulu :)
