For our 2008 Easter Sunday fly-in we decided to revisit an old fly-in airport from back in 2005: Mataveri International Airport on Chile's Easter Island. Lots had changed since our last visit three years before, with the tile-based X-Plane 7 global scenery having been superseded by two iterations of DSF-based scenery, not to mention the custom scenery packs available for this week. Much like our last visit to SCIP, I ended up flying in from Santiago, Chile in a LAN airliner before exploring the island in a variety of smaller aircraft.
