After two fly-ins in the Middle East it was time to visit cooler climates, so we headed for Kangerlussuaq Airport in Greenland this week. A snowstorm during the fly-in made landings very challenging (as you can see from the screenshots...) but the northern location also meant longer daylight hours for visual flight. Unfortunately X-Plane's scenery isn't too detailed above 60°N, but I did get a chance to visit the tiny part of Greenland that is covered by the new V8 scenery as well. If you notice an improvement in the sky colors, that's because I installed Sean Tebor's amazing Realsky 8 add-on :)
