Despite the less-than-perfect weather the Lake Tahoe fly-in was quite successful and for me also rather eventful. I took off from Kalispell, Montana in a 737, flew around KTVL and the surrounding mountains in a Cessna 140 and an Extra 300L aerobatic plane, and finally attacked air and ground targets in an F/A-18 Hornet before the plane mysteriously flipped over in mid-air (despite being nowhere near stall speed), ending my flying a bit closer to Lake Tahoe than I had expected.
