Engaging the FLCH mode at 10000 feet, I discover exactly what kind of climb rates the quad-engined Il-62 is capable of :o With the nose this high there might be a danger of deep stall... except the plane is actually climbing that fast, and the angle of attack is quite low It didn't take too many seconds to climb past 30000 feet...
