Another central Asian fly-in without custom scenery available, but the X-Plane 9 default scenery quite made up for it. Engine management was the lesson of the day for me, as the weather conditions combined with high altitudes were making both overheating and engine freezeups a hazard at times. Before the fly-in, Rundek posted an interesting challenge: the Dushanbe-Khorog route, which I attempted to tackle in the Beechcraft 18 after my DC-3 flight from Skardu... take a look at the pics below and see what happened!
